As a result of the All Roads Lead to Change work group meeting held in October, the group developed a best practice monograph titled “Best Practices in Improving Care Quality and Mitigating Health Disparities from the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America Working Group.” This monograph explores the complex clinical and situational characteristics of MS in African Americans, the importance of timely diagnosis and access to appropriate care. It also explores the impact of health disparities and social determinants of health. The monograph thoroughly outlines seven best practice recommendations from the work group and serves as a framework for learners’ participation in all other All Roads Lead to Change educational activities.
